William Lyster Obituary, Death – William Lyster, who was 86 years old at the time of his passing, was taken from this world on April 5, 2023 at the Doctors Memorial Hospital in Bonifay, Florida. He called the town of Leonia in Florida his home. On October 31, 1936, he was born in Holmes County, Florida, to the late Leverette Franklin “Buck” Lyster and Ruby Catherine Pagett Lyster. His grandfather, Leverette Franklin “Buck” Lyster, had passed away prior to his birth.
Before he was even born, his father had already passed away. Monica Lyster, one of Bill’s daughters, and Charles W. Lyster, one of Bill’s brothers, both passed away before Bill. Bill was preceded in death not just by his parents, but also by his four brothers and sisters.
Bill is survived by one daughter, Ronda Roberts, who currently resides in Dothan, Alabama; one sister, Frances Lyster Jacobs, who currently resides in Niceville, Florida; one grandson.
Stephen Kasica and his wife Shalaya; one great-grandson, Kasten; three nieces, Janet Morse, Vicki Grace, and Amanda Lyster Ulam; and one nephew, Ronald Jacobs. Bill is also survived by one great-grandson, Kasten. The passing of the Bill occurred on September 15, 2018.
In the Leonia Cemetery on Wednesday, April 12th, 2023, at eleven in the morning, there will be a service at the gravesite during which military honors will be accorded to the deceased. Peel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
