The incident took place in the wee hours of the morning on Saturday, just after 1:30 a.m., in the 2800 block of Dubuque Street NE, which is located in the more rural parts of Johnson County.
According to reports, Trevor Burrows and Jacob Cohen, who were both 18 years old at the time, were driving a Jeep Wrangler when it drove into a ditch, flipped over, and both of them were thrown out of the car. Neither of them had any serious injuries as a result of the accident. The occurrence was reported to the appropriate authorities. According to the results of the inquiry, not a single one of the parties was wearing a seat belt at the time of the incident.
