On February 26, 2022, Angel Cardinal, age 19, a resident of Edmonton, was tragically murdered in a collision on Highway 28 one kilometer north of Anthony Henday. The driver of the other vehicle fled the scene. The Morinville RCMP are carrying on with their investigation into the hit-and-run collision that resulted in fatalities.
Despite the fact that their investigation is still ongoing, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) have not been able to successfully determine who is accountable for the crime. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) are hoping that by distributing a more recent picture of Angel—one that was taken not too long before she went away—they will inspire additional individuals to come forward with information.
