Sidney Tuck Obituary, Death – I am writing to let you know that E Comp Sidney Tuck, Former Grand Superintendent, died away peacefully this morning at the age of 97. His passing is something I feel compelled to share with you. Because I am writing this letter to you, I thought it would be appropriate to let you know this information.
I am sorry to have to break the news to you that he has passed away, but I feel obligated to do so. I am sorry that I am the one who has to be the one to break such discouraging news to you, but unfortunately. Sidney was a component of our group, and he was the person who held the record for the longest total years spent participating in the activities of the organization. Sidney was our record holder. On December 6th, 1956, he was given the initiation, and on May 19th, 1966, he was exalted.
Both of these events took place in the United States. The United States of America served as the location for both of these occurrences. In addition to that, he was the Grand Superintendent from the years 1995 until the year 2000. This role lasted the entire time he was in office. Sidney exemplifies the phrase “lived admired and died lamented” because he was a member of multiple different Orders over the course of his life. This adage is a perfect reflection of both Sidney’s life and his legacy. When it is time and appropriate to do so, there will be communication on the funeral arrangements that are being made.
