Melvin Wishewan Obituary, Death – Melvin Wishewan, one of our long-standing members (he’d been with us for more than 17 years! ), recently lost his battle with cancer after a relatively short struggle against the illness. This is news that we deliver to you not just with a heavy heart, but also with profound sadness. We apologize for the inconvenience. Melvin’s wonderful intros, as well as the “Meow Meow Meow” solo that he played during “The Cat Came Back,” are probably still quite clear in your memory at this point.
As a result of the great amount of affection he had for each and every person he had ever met, he was able to draw a sizable audience to each and every performance that he performed. He was incredibly successful. Because of your departure, Melvin, each and every one of us will experience a great sense of loss. Also, we will be thankful to Kyla Fisher for the rest of our lives for the fact that she welcomed him to join the choir in the first place. This is something that we will always remember her for.
