Megan Breaux Car Accident – On August 9, 1934, he was brought into this world. Leonard was a devoted husband, father, grandpa, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. He also had many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Golfing and spending time with his family, especially on vacation, were two of his favorite activities.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Louisiana State University. After some time, Leonard started his own marine firm, which was eventually renamed Breaux and Daigle Marine. In addition to being a co-founder of the Pierre Part Volunteer Fire Department, he held the rank of Grand Knight in the Knights of Columbus.
Leonard was a faithful Catholic who held his religion in the highest regard. He attended St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, where he served as a member and was involved in the liturgy as both a lector and a commentator. He is survived by his wife of sixty-eight years, Ruby Boudreaux Breaux; his four children, Darwin Breaux (Susie), R.P.
Breaux (Betty), Paula Bergeron (Ricky), and Barry Breaux (Sherry); his eight grandchildren, Candice Breaux, Heather Lutz (Mike), Evan Bergeron, Heidi Knaub (Devin), Maxwell Breaux (Megan), and Seth Breaux; his three great-grandchildren, His parents, R.P. and Odette Breaux, have passed away before him in life’s journey.
On Tuesday, August 2, 2022, visitation will take place at the Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part, Louisiana, beginning at 8:30 am and continuing until the Mass of Christian Burial begins at 1:00 pm at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church. Interment will take place in the church mausoleum after the mass.
