Mark Furnival Obituary, Death – Mike Furnival died away peacefully in the presence of his family yesterday night in the familiar surroundings of their home. I am sorry to have to be the one to break the news to you all, but it is necessary. Unfortunately, it is necessary for Mark Furnival and I to make this news even though we both wish we didn’t have to.
As a result of the heartbreaking loss that Mike has inflicted upon his whole family as well as all of his close friends, none of us are able to find the comfort that we are looking for. When this image was shot in the late 1950s, the department store that is now known as Debenhams and was located on Blue Boar Row in Salisbury was still operating under the name Style & Gerrish at the time.
The picture was taken in the spring on a day that was bright and beautiful all while being in a stunning setting. The Bristol LS6G saloon KHR 654 was delivered to Wilts & Dorset in February of 1954, and it will soon leave for Laverstock via St. Mark’s Church as it is operating on route 54 in Salisbury City. Up to the month of May in 1974, the organization made use of KHR 654 in its operational capacity right up until that point.
