The cherished son of the late Israel Gerber and Rebecca Gerber. beloved father of Julie (Gerber) Rivera and her partner Yimi, Cheryl Gerber, Jennifer Gerber, and more children named Julie Gerber.

Larry received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Pennsylvania, and his Master of Business Administration degree came from Harvard Business School. He is the founder of EPOCH Elderly Living, a firm that specializes in memory care and independent living for the elderly.
He was a keen fan of sports in the Boston area as well as a committed season ticket holder for the Boston Celtics. He had many interests and hobbies, like going boating on Cape Cod, visiting with his relatives and friends, and frolicking with his dog, Eala. . Temple Beth Elohim, which is located in Wellesley at 10 Bethel Road, will be the location of services on March 27, 2023, at 10:30 in the morning.
After the burial at Or Emet Cemetery on Baker Street in West Roxbury, there will be a gathering in memory of the deceased at The Belmont Country Club, located at 181 Winter Street in Belmont, from four in the afternoon until six in the evening. Shiva will be at his home on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm, and on Friday from 1-4 pm. Donations to Brigham and Women’s Hospital or Temple Beth Elohim may be offered in place of floral tributes.
