Kimberly Newsam Obituary, Madisonville, KY, native has sadly passed away – Death

Kimberly Newsam Obituary, Death – Kimberly Lane Haley Newsam, age 53, went to be with the Lord on March 29, 2023, the day she passed away at her home. Kimberly was born on April 25, 1969, in Madisonville, Kentucky, to her mother Pam Bunch Haley, and her late father Danny Whitaker. Because we referred to her as Kim-Bo, getting to know her meant falling in love with her.

She would do anything she could for you, including giving you the shirt right off her back, until there was nothing left for her to give. She has a golden heart and a grin that could light up an entire room. Kim’s delight came from her passion for animals, and she made it her mission to save strays and find them loving homes for the rest of their lives.

Two of them were ones whom she took in and raised as her own. She was preceded in death by her sister, Shan Haley Rich; her cousin, Christopher Ross Bunch; and her beloved dogs, Jessie Joe and Cloe Newsam. In addition to her father, she was also predeceased by her grandparents, Ross Bunch, Jean Lynn, Ethel Vannoy, and Jack and Nelda Haley; her sister; and her beloved dogs.

Nicholas Newsam and Kelsey Stuard are two of the children that Kimberly leaves behind. She is also survived by her parents, Pam Bunch Haley and Larry Haley; her sister, Letha Beth Haley; her aunt, Alma Gayle (Doug) Bryant; her uncles, Don (Terry) Bunch, Chuck (Linda) Lynn, and Tracy Lynn; her nephew, Trevor Broadly; her nieces, Angela, Lydia, and Hannah Torres-H

On Thursday, April 6, 2023, the Mahr Park Arboretum will be the location of a special memorial service to celebrate Kimberly’s life. In place of flowers, memorial contributions in Kim’s name can be donated to the Hopkins County Humane Society, which can be found at 2210 Laffoon Trial, Madisonville, Kentucky 42431. The Harris Funeral Home was given the responsibility of providing care.
