Kerry Coppin Obituary, Gordonvale Turf Club Pays Tribute

Kerry Coppin Obituary, Death – A short while ago, Kerry Coppin, who had been the Secretary of the Gordonvale Turf Club for an exceptionally long time, passed away. On behalf of the Club, I am sorry to inform you of his passing. It is with deep regret that I make this announcement. Kerry was a brilliant organizer for the Gordonvale community and charity groups; she was a good work colleague; and

she was always prepared to go the additional mile in all she put her time and effort to. Kerry was much more than just our Secretary. In January of this year, Kerry, unfortunately, died away. She was a sweet young lady who was constantly smiling, had a good sense of humor, and was always willing to provide a helping hand to those in need. As a lifelong resident of this area, I, Kent Alley, the current President of the Turf Club, have had the pleasure of knowing Kerry all my life. Throughout our early school years, she was actively

involved with the swimming club, and in more recent years, we have developed a beautiful working connection with the management of the Gordonvale Turf Club. In addition, she was a member of the Gordonvale Swimming Club. The most thoughtful and generous of all the colleagues and friends with whom I’ve ever had the privilege of working, as well as the most helpful. The members of the Gordonvale

Turf Club and the Committee just do not have the words to adequately express their grief over the loss of such a wonderful woman, mother, grandmother, and friend who is leaving behind a legacy that has played an important role in the development of our club. Kerry is leaving behind a legacy that has played an important role in the development of our club. Please accept our sincere condolences for your loss. All of the members of the Coppin and Crappe families, as well as Gordon, Kylie, Kelly, and Kirby, are in our thoughts and prayers. Kent Alley (President)
