Jacob Eutis Obituary, Death – Jacob Eutis, age 22 and a resident of Oglesby, passed away at his home. Viewing will take place at the Mueller Funeral Home in Peru on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 from three to six o’clock in the evening, with a recitation of the rosary beginning at two forty-five. Funeral services will be performed on Wednesday evening at 6:00 PM at the funeral home in Peru. The Reverend Paul Carlson of Holy Family Church in Oglesby will preside over the ceremony.
Jacob Eutis was born on January 17, 2001 in Princeton, New Jersey to his parents, Terry Eutis and April (Zolper). Normal, Illinois was the location of his collegiate classes at Illinois State University. Jacob possessed a magnetic personality and a generous heart. He cherished his time spent with his family and dogs, as well as his interest in science and his brother Nicholas. He is survived by his parents Terry (April) Eutis; a brother, Nicholas Keefe; paternal grandfather and grandmother.
Mark (Kathy) Eutis; maternal grandfather, Joseph Zolper; paternal great-grandfather, Mervin Eutis; aunts and uncles, Lisa (Bret) Petty, Joe (Ellen) Zolper, Amy (Mike) Gahan, Renee (Joe) Tonioni and Angela Maskin and numerous cousins, great aunts and uncles and friends. Aunt Tracy (Eutis) Harden, paternal great-grandmother Betty Eutis, cousin Cole Petty, and maternal grandmother Karen Zolper all passed away before him. He was the last member of his immediate family to pass away. Donations made in memory of the deceased can be sent to the family’s address.
