Irene McGarry Obituary, Death- A woman who lived her life with an extraordinary amount of determination, zeal, and excitement has passed away in the early hours of the morning. Grandma, you have always been an inspiration to us with your passion to live life to the fullest despite the hardships that life may provide. Thank you for being such an inspiration to us.
Your love of adventure, your commitment to being present at all of life’s significant moments — including sporting events, shows, birthdays, and school graduations, to name a few — your ability to bring your entire family together for elaborate holiday meals or just a quick stop in to say hello over a cup of coffee, the fact that you raised and loved your four children, that you were always there for your nine grandchildren, and that you took care of Grandpa like a real boondoggle all contribute to the fact nephew.
It is a wonderful indicator of how tenacious you are that when you reached a point where you could no longer be entirely real, you promptly declared, “my job is done here.” This demonstrates that you are very good at recognizing when you have reached a point where you can no longer be authentic. What a blessing it is that we have so many memories that will remain with us for the rest of our lives and that will serve as a source of inspiration for us. You were an amazing woman who never let anything stop her from living her life to the fullest, and you instilled that same zeal for life in every one of your family.
You were a true inspiration. You are now with grandpa, the person with whom you had so many experiences; grandpa, in his role as our guardian angel and watcher over us, may now create even more adventures as he continues to share those experiences with you. We are not going to be able to express how much we are going to miss you. Love you Grandma.
