George Stott Obituary, Death – We were all taken aback when we learned of the passing of Mr. George Stott, our good friend and coworker; as a result, we are writing to inform you of this tragic turn of events. Mr. Stott had only recently arrived at the point in his life where he was able to retire from the position of Northern Division Training Officer, capping off an incredible career that had lasted four decades. He had been in this job for the past several years.

Yesterday at the Antrim Regional Hospital, a sequence of events that was totally unanticipated resulted in George’s passing away.
George was a colleague who was well-known, experienced an amazing level of fame, and was held in the utmost regard possible. He was also well-liked. After George retired, he took the decision to continue providing his many years of experience and great skill to the growth of NIAS students right up until very recently. This decision was made very recently.

Because he believed it to be necessary up until very recently, he continued to do this. A terrible loss has been sustained by the entire profession of emergency medical services as a result of his passing.
