Frank Raper Obituary, Active Member Of BMSSCL Has Sadly Passed Away

Frank Raper Obituary, Death – After learning of the sudden passing of longstanding BMSSCL umpire Frank Raper, the BMSSCL community is in a deep state of sadness. Several years were spent with Frank serving the league. For the 15 years that Frank has been active in the BMSSCL umpiring community, he has held the position of an umpire in the league.

Frank is an important member of the community. In recognition of the considerable impact that he made on the league as a whole, the league presented him with the Leslie B. Briggs Trophy in 2022 as a token of their gratitude. Many individuals saw Frank as the quintessential example of what it means to be a gentleman, and he was one of the officials in the league who had the most supporters. Everyone who knew him will grieve his passing in their own unique way.

Since 2016, he had been very connected with Greenfield Country Club in many capacities. During this difficult time, the Executive Committee of the BMSSCL would like to extend our most sincere condolences to Moyra, Frank’s wife, and let her know that she and the rest of the family are in all of our thoughts and prayers. We would also like to let her know that she is in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. We hope that Frank’s legacy will be a source of blessing, and we pray that he will be able to rest in peace.
