Frank Armitage Obituary, Death – Frank Armitage, who had served as President of the Association for many years, has passed away. It is with a sad heart that I have to do so. It is up to me to be the one to deliver the bad news to them. Frank has been involved with the association for a good number of years, initially serving as a committee member, then moving up to the role of Vice President in 2012, and finally assuming the role of President in 2019.
This contribution is applicable to a variety of various tasks carried out by the organization. Deep sorrow will be felt by his many friends and former shipmates aboard the vessels run by Ellerman’s Wilson Line, where he worked as a Marine Engineer. His passing will be keenly felt by all of them. A glowing and joyful feeling will accompany our thoughts of him forever. During this difficult time, our deepest condolences go out to his cherished wife Georgina (Ina), as well as to all of his doting children and grandchildren.
May you find comfort in the knowledge that you are not alone. We hope that knowing that you are in our thoughts and prayers brings you some measure of consolation in this time of need. We offer you our prayers in the name of everyone who serves on the Hull I.M.N.A. Committee and in the hopes that your journey will be free of incident and that you will discover a sense of calm.
