Floyd Rapanan Obituary, Death – On March 26, 2023, Floyd Pobre Rapanan passed away in the Crozer Chester Medical Center in Upland, Pennsylvania. His age at the time was 52. He stated that Gurnee, Illinois, was his home. On November 15, 1970, in Portsmouth, Virginia, his parents, Frank Rapanan and Mercedes (Pobre) Rapanan, welcomed him into the world.
He was their youngster. Floyd had been employed at Discover for more than 20 years at that point. He was commended for his dedication to his family in his capacities as a husband, a father, and a son. He felt an indescribable feeling of fulfillment as he saw his sons grow up to be responsible, successful young men. Throughout his whole stay at Michigan State University, he was a devoted supporter of the White Sox and the Spartans.
Floyd loved spending time with his family, especially when they all laughed hysterically at the same jokes. He enjoyed playing pickleball with his friends and family when he had free time. Julie Rapanan, his wife of 26 years whom he married on September 14, 1996, in Glenview, Illinois, is the only member of Floyd’s living family.
Together with his sons Eric Rapanan of Dallas, Texas, and Brian Rapanan of Gurnee, Floyd is also survived by his parents Frank and Mercedes Rapanan. Floyd and Julie Rapanan have been wed since 1996. On April 5, 2023, a viewing and funeral service is planned at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Gurnee, Illinois. The address of the church is 6401 Gages Lake Road. The funeral ceremony will begin at 12:30 p.m. after the wake, which begins at 11:30 a.m.
