Fiona Wilson Obituary, Industry consultant Fiona Wilson, Passes Away At 61

Fiona Wilson Obituary, Death Fiona Wilson, co-founder of medicinal cannabis consultancy Holmes and Wilson, died after a brief illness at the age of 61.

Fiona Wilson (left) with her business partner and friend Patty Holmes.  She joined Althea as regulatory affairs manager in July 2020, after a long and successful career in the pharmaceutical business, where she met the director of medical affairs Patty Holmes.

A year later, the couple left Althea to start Holmes and Wilson, with the goal of assisting the industry in navigating the regulatory standards of development, registration, communication, and supply. “Since we enjoyed working together so much and had complimentary skill sets, we created Holmes and Wilson to continue our work in the business,” Holmes told Cannabiz.

“First and foremost, I will remember Fiona as a beloved friend and wise companion with a wicked sense of humor.” She did not put up with nonsense and said it like it was. She was one of the brightest people I have ever met and will be sorely missed.

Wilson is survived by her partner, Eric, and their two kids, Jess and Emma, whom Holmes characterized as “young, strong, independent women – a true credit to Fiona.”
