Ellie Paulsen Obituary, Death – On April 4, 2023, Gabriella “Ellie” Joy Paulsen of Addison, Illinois passed away. Ellie was a vital member of her close-knit family and will be sadly missed by her parents, Craig and Susan Paulsen, her brothers, Bryndon, Jordan (Ali), Trevor, and Cameron, sister, Alexandra, and her grandparents, Lonnie and Lorraine Paulsen.
Ellie had a unique perspective on the world. She had a great deal of passion for the performing arts and was certain that she had found her calling. Theater was her favorite place to be, whether she was taking in shows for herself or using her acting talent and stunning voice to make audiences smile.
Ellie was earning a degree in theatrical Education at Illinois State University while participating actively in the theatrical community. She was renowned for her empathy and capacity for displaying love and concern for everyone around her. She developed close bonds with the residents of her neighborhood, and her friends will fondly remember her.
Ellie felt compelled to make the world a better place by following her convictions. Her faith in and love for God served as the foundation for her vivacious personality and solid character. If you give flowers, omit the lilies because her family is allergic to them. On April 10, 2023, there will be a visitation at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main Street, Lombard, from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Tuesday, April 11, 2023, lying-in-state from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, funeral service at 10:00 AM, and burial at Forest Hill Cemetery, Glen Ellyn, all at Living Hope Church, 777 Meacham Road, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007. After the interment, there will be a luncheon at Living Hope Church.
