Elizabeth Schneider Obituary, Honorable Councilwoman At The Township of Monroe Has Passed Away

Elizabeth Schneider Obituary, Death – We like to express our deepest condolences to everyone on the passing of Elizabeth “Betty” Schneider, who served as an honorable Councilwoman.

Betty, who has a history of being dedicated to helping others and who has always been committed to the people she serves, was elected to government in November 2013 to represent the first ward in Monroe Township. Before it, she held the position of Vice President of the Council from 2017 to 2021. Betty was incredibly proud of our township and its citizens, and she took every chance to celebrate all of them.

She never missed a community event because of this pride. Betty was a fervent supporter of the Office of Aging and, in particular, the food pantry, the Police Department, the local Boy Scout and Girl Scout groups, and the Human Relations Commission. She was also a member of the Human Relations Commission. Betty was known across the Rossmoor neighborhood for her many positive contributions and high level of respect. Before she moved to Monroe, Councilwoman Schneider was a member of the North Brunswick Township Board of Education for a total of 20 years.

The township council, Mayor Dalina, and all of the staff members offer their sincerest condolences to the Schneider family in their time of loss. We are going to miss Betty’s visits, grin, and buoyant personality; she was loved and admired by everyone.
