Edward Barton Obituary, Death – Edward Barton, Jr., age 94, passed away on April 6, 2023 at the Bonifay Nursing and Rehab Center in Bonifay, Florida. He was a resident of Bonifay, Florida. On May 15, 1928, he was born in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Edward Heardman Barton, Sr. and Margaret Lehner Barton. His father passed away before he was born. Ed was preceded in death by his devoted wife, Mildred Betty Barton, two sons, Edward H. Barton, III, and Gary Barton, and three sisters.
Beverly Barton, Betty Shenton, and Jeanette Joy. In addition to his parents, Ed was also predeceased by his loving wife. Mr. Barton is survived by one son and his wife in Florida named Greg and Lisa Barton; one daughter named Colleen Raber from Tennessee; one daughter-in-law living in Maryland named Cindy Barton; one sister living in Maryland named Shirlie Ward; seven grandchildren named Justin Barton, Ryan Dean, Christina Barton Lowman and husband Harry.

On Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at eleven in the morning, funeral services will be performed in the chapel of the Peel Funeral Home. After the service, the deceased will be laid to rest in the St. John Cemetery under the direction of Peel Funeral Home. At the Peel Funeral Home, the family will host a visitation one hour before the service, from 10 to 11 AM, on the day of the funeral.
