Edmond Murphy Obituary, Death – We are sorry to tell you of the passing of Retired Assistant Chief Edmond Murphy; during this difficult time, we would like you to know that his family and friends are in our thoughts and prayers. Ed started working for the Roberts Park Fire Protection District in 1974, and he remained employed by the District until he retired in 2015, for a combined total of 41 years of service to the District during the course of his tenure there during the course of his employment there.
In 2015, Ed took his retirement from the District after working for the District for a combined total of 41 years. I would like to take this opportunity, on behalf of each and every one of the members of Local 3098, to offer our most heartfelt sympathies to Chief Murphy’s family, friends, and coworkers who have been impacted by his passing. We are deeply sorry for the loss you have suffered. We are truly sorry for the loss that you have had to go through, and our condolences go out to you.
