Duane A. Tarr Obituary, Death – At the age of 88, Duane A. Tarr, a resident of Bradford, passed away at the Bradford Manor on Tuesday (April 4, 2023). He was the son of Norman Ellsworth and Laura Claire Field Tarr, both of whom passed away, and was born in Bradford on September 23, 1934. He received his diploma from Brantford Collegate College in the Canadian province of Ontario. In Arlington, Virginia, on March 18, 1957, he tied the knot with Mary Joanna Mesler Tarr, who would go on to pass away seven years later.
On May 7, 1976. He attended services at the Church of the Ascension regularly. Between the years 1954 and 1971, Duane was employed as a window display designer in the states of California, Arizona, and Washington, District of Columbia. Between the years 1972 and 1989, he had his own business in Gifford as a furniture refinisher. Between the years 1990 and 1995, he worked as a long-distance driver for J.B. Hunt. In addition to that, he volunteered his time at the Sena Kean Manor and for members of the local community.
Lesley Woodhouse, the only niece of the deceased, is still alive. One of his sisters, Nancy Hyde, and one of his brothers, Norman Tarr, passed away before he did.
