Douglas (Dougie) Obituary, Death- Our sincerest condolences go out to Dougie’s family and friends on the passing of Douglas (Dougie), who passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at the Fraserburgh Hospital. He was able to reflect on 66 years of professional experience. He was known and loved by everyone who knew him for his many roles, which included being a devoted partner to Dorothy, a doting father to Kirsteen and Adam, a devoted father-in-law to Fraser and Jodie, a proud grandparent to Emma, and a devoted brother, uncle, and friend to everyone who knew him. All of these roles earned him recognition and love from the people who knew him.
Because of his participation in so many different roles, he had a special place in the hearts of everyone who knew him. It was on the 15th of April in the year 2019 that he passed away. On Wednesday, April 19, the funeral services will start at eleven in the morning at the Alexander Buchan & Son Funeral Chapel in Fraserburgh, which can be found on Denmark Street. The deceased’s family has been honored with the naming of the chapel. Everyone who knew the deceased person personally is cordially invited to join the burial at Peathill Cemetery, which will take place immediately after the service that will be held in the church.
The burial will take place at the earliest possible convenience. It is requested that only immediate family members send flowers; however, anybody who wishes to make a donation in lieu of sending flowers is welcome to do so at the entrance of the chapel in the name of The Archie Foundation. The passing of this guy will deal a devastating blow to the lives of everyone who knew and loved him.
