In light of the fact that Dean’s wife Lucy shared his enthusiasm for seeing the globe, he made it a point to accompany the two of them on the majority of their journeys. He was not only a National Senator for the Junior Chambers of Commerce, but he was also a founder of the Junior Chamber of Commerce chapter in Lighthouse, Florida. This distinction was awarded to him in recognition of his many accomplishments. In addition to his tenure as a National Senator, he was honored with this honor as a result of his work.
