Dale Jensen Obituary, Death – Douglas Dale Jensen, the son of Dale and Yvonne (Randolph) Jensen, was born in Harlan, Iowa, on March 3, 1960. He was the son of Dale and Yvonne Jensen. Dale and Yvonne (Randolph) Jensen are his parents. His formative years were spent on the family farm, which was located in the general region of Kimballton. He also attended school in this area and received his high school diploma from Elk Horn-Kimballton in the year 1978.

Doug was an athlete that participated in a variety of sports, particularly football, basketball, and baseball, and he garnered a great lot of attention in each of these three fields. In particular, he got a lot of admiration for his prowess in football. Because baseball had always been his major interest, he devoted his entire life to learning the sport and became one of the most accomplished clean-up batters in the state as a direct result of his commitment to baseball during his entire life.

Doug attended the Sunday services at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Jacksonville, which he attended because he was a member of the congregation there. His all-time favorite teams were the New York Yankees, the Minnesota Vikings, the Oklahoma Sooners, and the Iowa Hawkeyes, notably the women’s basketball team. His hometown team was the Iowa Hawkeyes. He was a die-hard supporter of each and every one of these teams.

Watching a multiplicity of different sporting events presented him with a source of entertainment. Little league baseball was Doug’s favorite activity to play when he was younger, and as he got older, he continued to enjoy his passion for the sport by taking part in games that were hosted by community teams. These games included slow-pitch softball and baseball. In addition, he was in charge of the planning of the competitions that took place on Labor Day.
