Christine Peek Obituary, Death – The news that Christine Peek passed away on Friday, March 31st, at her home brings us a great deal of sorrow, and we are sorry to have to tell you about it. She became ill on Christmas Day and was swiftly identified as having a brain tumor, which Christine, in her signature fashion, immediately dubbed “Frank.” The diagnosis was made after she was taken ill on Christmas Day.
Christine was never going to prevail in her battle, despite the heroic efforts of the medical professionals at Addenbrookes and the workers at our local hospitals. This was always going to be a battle that Christine lost. She maintained her composure, her dignity, and her alertness despite being aware of the situation. Many of you who are reading this will remember Christine as the person who hosted you while you participated in our Driver CPC classes.
She made sure that everyone felt welcome and that they had enough food to eat. Several people will have had the opportunity to speak with her at various conventions and seminars held across the nation. The vast majority of you will have communicated with her over the phone as she coordinated the scheduling of your or a loved one’s driving lessons and examinations. Those who knew her in any capacity will feel a loss upon her passing. St. Margaret’s Church in Lowestoft, NR32 4JD will be the location of her funeral on April 28, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., following her passing.
