Christian Rogers Obituary, Death – On Monday, April 3, 2023, Christian Noah Rogers, age 16 and a resident of Fort Wayne, Indiana, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in heaven. He was the devoted son of Christopher and Penny (Bortner) Rogers, who raised him in Fort Wayne when he was born there. Christian went to
Suburban Bethlehem Lutheran School in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where he was heavily involved in the athletics program. He was also a junior at Anthis Career Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and North Side High School in Fort Wayne at the time of this sentence. God created him to be a fantastic, intelligent, fun, and kind person who is the life of the party, and that is who he will always be. Christian was the kind of son you wished you could have had, the
amazing brother you wished you had, and the friend who was always there for you when you needed him.
He was a devoted follower of mixed martial arts (MMA), particularly of Charles Oliveira, and also enjoyed rooting for the Detroit Lions, watching Dragon Ball Z, and admiring the work of Bob Ross. His parents, Chris and Penny, as
well as his brothers Michael and Hailey, as well as his other grandparents, Glen Rogers, Harry Taylor, and John (Norma) Bortner, as well as his great-grandmother, Nannie Bricker, and a large number of loving aunts, uncles, and other members of his extended family, all survive him. His grandmothers, Kathy (Thiery) Rogers and Linda Taylor passed away before he did. Christian was their only grandchild. On Sunday, April 16, 2023, at 6 p.m., there will be a
Celebration of Christian’s Life held at Suburban Bethlehem Lutheran Church, located at 6318 W. California Rd., in Fort Wayne. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. and continue until the services begin at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be sent in Christian’s name to the Christian Rogers Scholarship Fund, which is administered by Suburban Bethlehem Lutheran School.
