Chris Craig Obituary, Chris Craig Has Peacefully Passed Away

Chris Craig Obituary, Death – Chris Craig passed away in a natural manner late on Friday, March 24, while he was waiting for a liver transplant in a hospital in Toronto. He was surrounded by his family at the time of his passing. Since the summer before last, Chris has been suffering from liver failure. On Saturday, March 25, Chris’s wife Bobbi-Jo revealed the news on her Facebook page, saying that it was with their family “It is with a heavy heart that we must announce Chris’s passing. He struggled for a long time and exerted a lot of effort, but his body could not endure another round.”

Late in the evening on Friday, Chris passed away “peacefully surrounded by his family. Bobbi-Jo continued: “The amount of effort that he put into fighting not just for himself but also for his family serves as a source of motivation for us. His children were the apple of his eye, and he looked up to Coral and Connor with the utmost pride. He was not only my closest friend but also my soulmate.” Chris suffered from severe acne when he was a teenager, and his parents intended to put him on a specialized prescription for the condition.

When they did that, they discovered that he had primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC), a rare chronic liver condition in which the bile ducts inside and outside of the liver become inflamed and scarred, and eventually become restricted or blocked. This was revealed when they ran blood testing. As this occurs, bile begins to accumulate in the liver, which leads to severe damage to the organ. PSC causes damage to the liver over time, which eventually results in failure of the liver. Chris was in the hospital awaiting a liver transplant when he got pancreatitis, which meant that the procedure could not be performed since it would not be safe.
