Charlotte Davis Obituary, Death – Charlotte Davis, who was the proprietor of Jay’s and passed away on Friday morning, passed away in a calm and dignified manner. Our deepest sympathies go out to Jay’s family as well as all of his friends, neighbors, and coworkers. Since Jay’s death in 2009, she has made it her life’s work to continue the legacy he has left behind for others to enjoy. The Davis family is inconsolable, but we find solace in the knowledge that she is at peace and that she is once again with Jay.
She is also no longer experiencing any pain. Even if this does not make the loss of our loved one any easier to bear, it does bring some degree of resolution. Jay’s will be closed on Wednesday, March 29, and Thursday, March 30, in order to provide our family, friends, and customers with the chance to celebrate the life of this beautiful lady and remember her in a manner that is suitable. She passed away on Tuesday, March 28.
Anybody who wishes to pay their respects to Charlotte’s family and friends is welcome to do so by attending the memorial service that will be held in her honor.
