Carole B. Flynn Obituary, Death – Carole B. Flynn passed away on March 21, 2023 at The Seasons, an assisted living facility in East Greenwich. She was 90 years old and had previously resided in Warwick, Rhode Island. Carole’s devoted husband of 56 years, Ralph Francis Flynn, Jr., DDS, as well as her brother, Robert P. Murphy, both passed away before she did.
Carole is the daughter of James C. Murphy and Mildrena (Evans) Murphy, both of whom have passed away. Carole was born in Providence. Since the year 1965, she had called Warwick Neck her home. After completing her education at Cranston East High School and Rhode Island College, she went on to become a teacher before getting married to Ralph on May 4, 1957. They started out in Warwick’s Governor Francis Farms neighborhood, but eventually made their home in Warwick Neck, where they brought up a family that consisted entirely of females.
Carole is survived by all five of her daughters, Anne C. Flynn of Warwick, Katherine M. Kusior and husband Patrick of Londonderry, NH, Elizabeth Carey and husband Michael, of Attleboro, MA, Carole Stimpson and her husband Paul of Brooksville, FL and Amy E. Flynn of Warwick; and her grandchildren, Ethan Kusior, Aidan, Catie Mae, and Liam Carey and Alysha Moscarelli; two great-grandchildren, Arya and Benjamin Moscarelli; and many nieces and nephews. She was a sister to James E. Murphy and his wife Corinne of Austin, Texas, as well as Janice Gilligan and her husband Tom of Sarasota, Florida. She passed away in 2014.
