Calum Duvall Obituary, Death – Crystal here; Joe and Tara Duvall are two of my closest pals along with many others. I’m happy to call both of them colleagues because we’ve worked together in the past. Calum Wayne Duvall, their gorgeous son, was born a little over three years ago, and I had the honor of delivering him. When he was younger, he was an adorable newborn boy.
Seeing him mature into the caring, loving, and considerate young man he is now has been one of my life’s greatest joys since then. This is one of the best things to happen to me in my entire life. Yet, this family is currently experiencing the unimaginable; they have lost a child, something no parent should ever have to go through.
Nothing like this should ever happen to a parent. This is something no child’s parent should ever have to go through. The news of Calum’s passing on March 25—just three days after his third birthday—came as a huge shock to everyone. Because this family is in the midst of grieving the enormous and devastating loss of a loved one, that’s why I thought of it.
Together, we can rally around this family in need and help them focus on healing rather than worrying about the future thanks to this fundraising effort. Since this family is in grief, I thought we might all come together to help them out during this difficult time by holding a fundraiser in their honor. When I considered that this family is acting out the rituals of mourning a loved one’s death, the idea for this came to me.
