Brunette Paul Obituary, Church Of The Good Shepherd Mourns Death

Brunette Paul Obituary, Death- Friends and members of the Good Shepherd Church. We regret to inform you of the passing of Mr. Paul H. Brunette. On March 29, 2023, Paul passed away. He was 91 years old. Paul was a devoted member of our parish who was well-liked both inside the church and in the neighborhood. Paul was reared in Arlington, Texas, where he played football for the Arlington Colts for three seasons. Paul was born in Paris, Texas, although he was raised in Arlington.

He relocated to Austin and enrolled in UT after graduating. Paul’s undergraduate career was put on hold in January 1951 when he enlisted in the US Navy to serve on the USS Haley, DD556 during the Korean War. He returned to UT after being released from the Military, where he met Charlotte June Senechal in December 1954. Following a brief courtship, he wed the love of his life, and the union has been together for 67 years. After completing a Bachelor of Business Management from the University of Texas in 1956, Paul entered the University of Texas Law School, where he eventually graduated in 1959.

After receiving his degree, he relocated to Wichita Falls, Texas, with his wife and two children. He worked as an associate prosecutor for the Wichita County Attorney after briefly working for Humble Oil Corporation. He eventually entered private practice, practiced law for the rest of his life in Wichita Falls, Texas, and was awarded the Texas Bar Association’s 50-year pen. He adored Wichita Falls and frequently gushed to people about what a great place it was to live and bring up a family. His wife Charlotte Senechal Brunette, son David B. Brunette and wife Brenda, daughter Dorothy B.

Simons and fiance Jon Jones, four grandchildren in the form of Charlotte Simons, Lillian Simons, Neely Brunette, and Reed Sterling Brunette, as well as several nieces and nephews, survive Paul. At 2:00 PM, there will be a memorial service. on April 1, 2023, at the Church of the Holy Shepherd in Wichita Falls, Texas, 1007 Burnett Street. The ceremony will be followed by a reception in the parish hall.
