I don’t know what to say; you’ve left me speechless. When someone you’ve known from childhood and shared a dorm room with in college suddenly dies, it’s absolutely unfair.
I’ll paraphrase Brooke Upchurch and say that my time with you was unforgettable. You always seemed cheerful, and nobody could forget the sound of your contagious chuckle. The number of beautiful occasions we’ve shared as children and young adults is immeasurable, and I often look through old photo albums to relive them.
Through the decades, your legacy will live on, and you will never be forgotten or replaced. A mark of disgrace shall always follow you. I hope you find the kind of tranquility that defies explanation. Please know that you and the people you care about are in my thoughts and that I am sending you all the love I can manage. She was as beautiful on the inside as she was out, with a heart that matched her outward beauty.
Although this has been mentioned before, I feel it necessary to reiterate how infectious her grin was. For the remainder of my life, she will be someone I think about often and feel deeply about.
