Alistair Cairns Obituary, Death- We were devastated to hear the news that Alistair had died away, and on behalf of the President, the Board of Directors, and each and every member of the Irish Table Tennis Association, I would like to extend our deepest condolences to Alistair’s family and friends. We were horrified to hear the news that Alistair had passed away. When we heard that Alistair had passed away, we were overcome with sorrow.
Everyone on the island acknowledged him to be a formidable opponent and looked forward to engaging in a game of table tennis with him due to the fact that they knew they would have a good time. Everyone on the island saw him as a role model because of his reputation as a strong adversary. He has represented Ulster in the Interpros on several occasions, as well as Northern Ireland and Ireland in the Commonwealth Championships, European Championships, and World Championships.
In addition to that, he has represented Ireland in the World Championships on multiple occasions. In addition to that, he was Ireland’s representative in the Olympic Games and competed in a number of events. In addition to that, he represented Ireland at the World Championships and took part in that competition. He was a participant in the event.
During this trying time, we are keeping his wife Olga and their three children, Jana, Cara, and Aaron, in the forefront of our thoughts and prayers.
